The health of its individuals is a human essential for a thriving society, and making sure the poor receive compassionate and professional medical attention is a significant portion of FEED’s mission. The Medical Committee provides disabled and ill FEED Families necessary humanitarian contact and love, and amplifies that with monthly medications, free medical consultation, medical history follow-up and encouragement to undertake yearly screening and check-ups. The Medical Committee works closely with the Fundraising Committee to raise funds and pay for any hospitalization fees. The Medical Committee also organizes bi-yearly medical-needs awareness campaigns, establishes relationships with pharmaceutical companies and pharmacies for donation potential and support, and creates a database of all doctors aiding FEED Families to better serve the needy community.
Provide the families we currently support with the needed medication on a monthly basis.
We are always next to our underpriviledged friends when in need of covering hospitalization expenses.
Physiotherapy to handicapped individuals make up a big part of our monthly cost
Taking apointments with doctors that support FEED along with transportation of the ill is what we tend to do whenever requested from the families we support.

A family with a boy who suffers from Hemophilia “A”.Hemophilia “A” is the most common type of hemophilia. It is also known as factor VIII deficiency or classic hemophilia. It is largely an inherited disorder in which one of the proteins needed to form blood clots is missing or reduced.
When a person with hemophilia is injured, he does not bleed harder or faster than a person without hemophilia, he bleeds longer. Small cuts or surface bruises are usually not a problem, but more traumatic injuries may result in serious problems and potential disability (called "bleeding episodes").
Inorder to prevent bleeding, one needs 20 doses of factor VIII, which accounts for 500 international units per month at a unit cost of $500.
This family is in need as their source of income is very limited due to the fact that the father has a health condition called epilepsy and the mother was recently diagnosed with breast cancer.
Your donation will save the life of the boy who counts on these doses to survive:
The amount needed per month is around $10,000 out of which 80% is covered by the Lebanese Ministry of Health. This amount is an approximation because the cost of the doses, as per the Ministry of Health, varies and fluctuates according to market price. Your donations are needed to cover the 2000$ needed per month.
