Ralph Rahme is the President and Head of Strategy and Operations at FEED. Embodying FEEDs philosophy and values, Ralph is the face of our organizations mission to help the poor fulfill their essential needs. Ralph is the lead advocate for FEEDs 360-degree “preparation program," spurring its goal to aid every family and empower them to be independent in the future. Though his position with Media Edge, Ralph is the Country Business Manager of the Beirut office, where he directs all of the media activities and communication strategies for all of their diverse brands. Complementing his professional experience, Ralph holds a B.A. in Marketing from the Lebanese American University. Ralph has the consummate leadership experience and ambition to galvanize FEED in reaching its goals.
Head of Educational Aid Services, Ralph C. Bistany brings a wealth of education and management insight to FEED. Ralph has spent the last five years serving in various capacities within SABIS®, a global management education organization. Ralphs demanding roles at SABIS, which operates schools as well as a university in 15 countries on four continents, strongly positions him to help FEED grow, and ultimately, contribute to a better world. He holds a B.S. in Banking and Finance from the Lebanese American University and a M.S. in Human Resource Management from the University of Surrey, plus is an accredited CIPD Associate Member.
Responsible for providing medicine and healthcare services to the needy, Rita leads the medical department at FEED. She spent the last year as a community pharmacist, and has recently established her own pharmacy, which will enable her to build a vast network of medical suppliers and providers. That structure will streamline our ability to bring effective help to people in medical need. During her doctorate program, Rita focused on four hospital units: Pediatrics, Oncology, Internal Medicine and Coronary Care. She holds a Doctorate in Pharmacy from Lebanese American University.
As the head of Employment committee, Antoine is responsible for providing career opportunities for family members within FEED’s support program. By doing so, family heads would rely less on nongovernmental support and would achieve financial independence. His role as a consultant at Booz & Co. positions him well to boost FEED’s social impact. Antoine holds a BE in Industrial Engineering from the Lebanese American University.
As the head of the housing sector at FEED, Giorgio Roger Azar will use his leadership skills to seek out and secure shelter for needy families. Giorgio worked in key leadership positions at his family businesses, including overseeing the scope of operations managing director at GAF Marble & Granite. Giorgio graduated from the Universite du Saint Esprit Kaslik and holds a Masters in Interior Design.
Romy is head of the legal department at FEED and is responsible for assisting the FEED family in all legal issues. Romy’s experience combines great professional talents with her sense of applied social justice: her expertise and passions support FEEDs mission of securing and defending the rights and dignity of every human being, regardless of their station in life. Romy is a Partner at Emile Rahme Law Firm in Beirut. Prior to her current position, she worked in the New York office of Dewey &LeBoeuf and was an Associate at Tyan and Associates in Beirut. Romy holds a LL.B degree in Law and Political Sciences from Saint Joseph University and a LL.M from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, with a concentration in Corporate and Finance Law.
